ASI Executives Officers 2007-08

Mark Andrews - President and CEO
Mark Andrews is a Political Science Major and Philosophy Minor at California State University, Long Beach. Andrews first got involved with ASI when he volunteered at an event called Beach Pride Poolside where he cooked burgers for students. He went on that year to run for senate, but was instead appointed Secretary for City Affairs; a job made for him, where he represented the school at the City Council at Chamber of Commerce meetings. After taking a year away from ASI, he decided to run for president. Andrews ended up winning by less than 20 votes.

Lucy Montano - Vice President and Chair of Board of Directors
Lucy Montano is the ASI Vice President/Chair of Board of Directors at California State University, Long Beach. This is Montano’s second year participating in ASI. Last year, she was the senator for the College of Education. Montano will be beginning her fourth year at CSULB as a liberal study major in order to become an elementary school teacher.
Shelena McClinton - Treasurer
Shelena McClinton is the AS Treasurer for the 2007-2008 school years. Previously, she served as the 2004-2005 Conservation Commissioner and senator for the College of Liberal Arts from 2005-2007. She is currently a grad student studying public policy and administration. In 2006, McClinton graduated with her B.A. in Political Science and Communication from CSULB.
Brandy Bandaruk
Brandy Bandaruk is the AS Administrator for the 2007-2008 school year. Previously, she served as the 2006-2007 Awards & Recognition Commissioner. She is currently an undergraduate student studying Recreation & Leisure Studies and minoring in French as well as History. In 2009, Bandaruk will graduate with her B.A. in Recreation & Leisure Studies from CSULB.
James B. Davis
James B. Davis is the ASI Chief of Staff for the 2007-2008 school year. Previously, he served as Senator for the College of Engineering from 2006-2007 and Academic Senator from 2005-2006. In 2009, Davis will graduate with his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from CSULB.
