JENA 6

"The Implications of Jena 6" will be on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 6 p.m. in the USU Beach Auditorium. According the ASI press release they are having this discussion to promote diversity and understanding.
Dr. James Sauceda, the director of the Multicultural Center at Cal State Long Beach, Dr. Amy Rasmussen, a professor for racial and ethnic politics from the Political Science Department and Dr. Michael E. Conner, a professor of clinical psychology, sports exercise and parenting from the Psychology Department, will all be speaking in the discussion.
"We need to proactively be aware of tensions and issues of culture and background." said Dr. Sauceda .
